Waterfront Concerts rocks Bangor Waterfront with help from Oxford Networks
Bangor, Maine – Waterfront Concerts rocked the Bangor Waterfront this summer with its outdoor concert series. Performers included Celtic Women, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, and Jason Mraz, just to name a few. According to Robbie Snow, Waterfront Concerts production coordinator, the show almost didn’t go on until Oxford Networks stepped in to facilitate telecommunications access for the venue.
“Having dependable phone and high speed Internet was paramount to our success on the waterfront during 2010. From the operation of our high speed ticketing scanners, to fulfilling contract requirements for performers and their staff, the series could not have happened without it. Oxford Networks coordinated with the City of Bangor to run the fiber optics necessary to meet our needs and met our very short deadline. Their technicians even exceeded our expectations when they tied in our production office and dressing rooms so we were fully up and running prior to the first show. Their entire staff was extremely personable and helpful from the start of the series throughout our last show!”
Oxford Networks Team Responds with Fast and Flexible Service
Recently, Central Maine Medical Center found itself in a bind when the cabling contractor they had hired to pull Fiber into one of their facilities was unable to meet the deadline date. CMMC called Oxford Networks asking for help and the team rallied to help them. The work was scheduled to be complete on Tuesday, May 18th and the office was to move on Thursday, May 20th, with the service going live on Monday May 24th. CMMC asked if Oxford Networks could install a 50 meg WAN connection back to their Host, and with lots of help from the team, Oxford Networks got the service installed that afternoon. CMMC was able to complete its move on time with no disruption of service. CMMC was thrilled with the responsiveness of Oxford Networks and the ability of the team to get the project done.
